In 2015 French installation artist Vincent Lamaroux sprayed a few palm trees and an old hotel completely white as a part of a project he was doing. I happened to be driving past so I climbed on the top of a garage across the street and made this image. The contrast between the trees was stunning and its simplicity was a coup for me in being economical in composition.
