Palm Springs is an intriguing little city that springs out of the desert, seamily out of nowhere. The great thing about taking pictures there is that the mountains are the backdrop to almost every image you take. In this image, I was thinking of David Hockney and his amazing Polaroid collages from the mid-80’s. I was playing with perception and symbols.
